Hi I'm Joshua Zoller

I love history, I worked at a sawmill, I love my country, I'm going on a mission and I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Joshua. I am 19 years old and have been working for the last year as a tailman, forklift driver and a saw operator in a local sawmill. During this time I have prepared myself spiritually, physically and financially to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I look forward to sharing my love for my Savior Jesus Christ and teaching people that He loves them too. I am following in the footsteps of my great grandparents, my mother and my older brother by serving a full time mission. In fact my grandma and I will be leaving for our missions and serving at the same time! That's pretty cool!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of my mother's faith and missionary work. She is my hero, because of how much she has developed throughout her life. My mother was born a member of the church, but she was less active throughout most of her early life. She accepted a challenge to go to seminary and felt the Spirit whereupon she started to attend her meetings regularly. While she was working as a secretary she meet my father, who was a Roman Catholic at the time. She had decided that she wanted to serve a mission and decided to help my dad come unto the Church. He always says "Your mother tricked me by saying, I'm going to serve a mission for my church can I practice what I'm going to say on you?" She went to Italy for her mission and my dad decided that he would try this church out. As she showed her example to him by going on her mission, he showed forth his desire to know the truth by putting in the effort of paying tithing. He has told me that paying tithing was where he found his faith and I have made it my effort to always pay my tithing even when it was only a few cents as a child. My father was baptized while my mother was on her mission and when she came home they were married in the LA Temple. Because of my mother's faith and the example she set my father joined the Church and I was born under the Covenant of the Lord. Both of my parents have a testimony of the Savior and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I know that they know the Church is true. Because of the strong example of my parents I was able to pray to my Eternal Father when I was twelve years old and waiting to pass the Sacrament for the first time. I received the strongest feeling of love and that I was doing what my Father in Heaven wanted me to do and I knew that God was listening to me and He loved me and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is God's kingdom here upon the Earth.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by striving to live Christ's teachings. I also help as our local ysa wards assistant sacrament coordinator, where I help get enough priesthood holders to let the sacrament run smoothly and help clean up after this sacred ordinance.
