Hi I'm Laura Millward

I'm from a small town in Southern Utah & Meridian Idaho. I love the outdoors. I'm a dancer, a college student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a dancer, I've danced my whole life since I was 3 years old, I absolutely love it! I have the most training in ballet, but I do jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, tap, and clogging. I also recently have gotten into country swing and Latin dancing. I currently go to Brigham Young University Idaho. It is amazing here! I plan to major in Early childhood/Special education. I love anything outdoors, hiking, climbing, camping, ect. Everything about nature just proves to me that everything denotes that there is a God and he has created so many beautiful things for us to enjoy. I've been so blessed to have grown up in the gospel, and I can't wait to share it with others!

Why I am a Mormon

This church is amazing. It is the true church of Christ. This gospel has been a safety net for me, it comforts me and is always there for me. At some point in my life, I had to decide whether or not this was the true church. I had had doubts, but when you read the Book of Mormon and you just try to live the commandments, I promise you that the Holy Ghost will tell you that this gospel is true. I know it, I live it, I love it.

How I live my faith

I have been a member my whole life, I've grown up in this church. I served while in young women's, the program for girls ages 12-18, in the class presidencies, I have taught classes for the women, I have worked in family history, and I have been an family home evening coordinator. Not only have I served in my ward growing up, but it has instilled in me a love of serving others outside of my church as well. I love to volunteer working with special needs kids and adults, I also have loved volunteering at Deseret Industries.
