Hi I'm Megs

I grew up in a small town, with lots of good people. I'm always dedicated to my family and lifelong friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with an older brother and sister, and one younger sister. I'm the only one in my family that did sports growing up. But every single one of my siblings love music just as much as I do. I have always loved music. I can sit and listen to it for hours on end, in almost any genre. I also love to preform, whether that be in plays or in a choir. It is a way of expressing my true feelings. My parents are people of compassion and often have helped kids in need. I have learned to work hard from them. When I was in my early teens we built a house together. Recently I had one of my siblings pass away, so our family is trying to adjust and lean on each other. Now I go to college and embrace all that life has given me, the good, the bad, and the lovely.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this is the only completely true church of Jesus Christ. I can feel it in my entire soul. I have been a member my entire life, but I am constantly learning more and more. And the more I study the more the spirit testifies that what I learn is true. I have seen way to many blessings in my life to deny that there is a God. I know that He is there, and that He loves and cares for me. He wants me to be happy because I am his daughter. Just like everyone here on this Earth I mean something special to him; I can feel that every time I step foot into His home. He speaks to me through others all the time. Going to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints is the only place that I feel like he is always there beside me, even when I feel otherwise completely alone. My brother died for me all those years ago because he wanted to help me. He cared for me so much then and I know that he cares for me just as much now. That's why He has his prophets speak us today. Because when they do I have no doubt that He is speaking to me personally. This church is true. There is just no way around that. The feelings that I have shared are true, and anyone and everyone can feel them to, because God loves his Children and wants nothing more than to show us the way to eternal happiness. I am proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My faith is very close to my heart. I love to show the Lord my thankfulness to him by serving in any ways that he asks me to. I have held callings in the church such as being on multiple planning committees, or a teacher for other Sisters my age. I have worked on many service projects around my community and I am constantly learning how to grow in the directions that the Lord leads me.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost is part of the Godhead. He is without a body so that he can help testify of the truthfulness by spirit. He is usually the feeling that you get when you know that a choice you made was a Christlike one. He helps to teach us what the truth is with a gentle or sometimes prominent feelings. By listening to those promptings you will find and gain testimony of correct teachings. Show more Show less
