Hi I'm Rebekah

I go to school at BYUIdaho and am studying Paramedicine. I just received my mission call to California San Diego Spanish Speaking.

About Me

I grew up in Salem Oregon in a family of 6. I am currently studying Paramedicine at BYU-Idaho with an emphasis on Army ROTC. I grew up with good members but most of my friends weren't LDS! I love the rain, the mountains, the trees and anything else that God made to look beautiful in this life. My family is the most important thing in my life besides Jesus Christ and I have recently been called to the California San Diego Spanish speaking mission and I report on February 3rd.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS home with parents who were strong and taught me to love the gospel. My mom went through a rough patch when she was not involved in church and my dad has always been very strong. When I was in high school and started to go through some rough times and struggles myself my mom then explained to me why she decided to stay in the church; "It's the best way to live." She would say. Because I went through times when I was not living the gospel I can see the difference in how I feel everyday. I feel happiness and peace because I know that my Heavenly Father lives and that His son Jesus Christ is my Savior. Without Him I would not be able to return back to live with my Heavenly Father and my family. I'm a Mormon because I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is the true church and that without it I am lost.

How I live my faith

I am a Relief Society teacher, so every few weeks it's my calling to teach from a particular talk in my Young Single Adults ward.
