Hi I'm Maggie

I grew up in Salt Lake. I enjoy making art and playing and the piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I will be serving in the North Carolina Raleigh mission for eighteen months. I enjoy art and art making and studied for a month at the Center for Academic Study and Naturalist Painting. I also enjoy playing the piano and teaching my five students. I play tennis for fun, and like to spend time with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because, through prayer and faith, I have learned for myself that the Gospel of this Church is true and that it is the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because it helps me to become a better person. I am a Mormon because I want to live with my Heavenly Father again. I am a Mormon because I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He suffered for me so I could have the chance to return to my Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because I want to share the happiness and strength this Gospel brings me with other people. I am a Mormon, not only because Christ needs me---to help bring Heavenly Father's children to the Gospel so they can live with Him again also---but because I need Christ. I am a Mormon because I choose to be.

How I live my faith

I was called to many leadership positions when I was in the Young Women's youth program. I am currently called as a Ward Family History Consultant, where I can learn how to do my own family history work and help other members of the ward and community to do the same, and even prepare names of ancestors to be taken to the holy temples where worthy members will perform vicarious ordinances that are necessary for salvation those who have passed.
