Hi I'm Brianna Korte

I'm growing up in Illinois, I am an aspiring author. I love the church, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Brianna, I am 15 years old. When I was 8, my mother decided to go to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I took the lessons from the missionaries for one year with my cousin and when I was 9, I was baptized to the church. I still remember going to the Nazarene church and Churches of Christ. They were a lot different than the LDS church. I love this gospel and I always have. I live in Illinois and I go to a school with no other Mormon members. Going to Mutual, Sunday School, Youth Conference and Girl's Camp is such a blessing because I am surrounded by other youth who live the same way I do. I have also been blessed with good friends at my school who accept me even though I don't do the same things they do. When I am old enough, I aspire to go on a mission and then to BYU. I am a Mormon, and no one can take that away from me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have seen, firsthand, lives of people and teens my age who don't have any religion, not to mention the gospel. They seem lost and empty, and they look to me as a light. People have told me that they can see the light shining off of me. I have made my share of mistakes and many more are sure to come, but I know that through Jesus Christ, his atonement, the church and it's gospel that can return back to my Heavenly Father, and live with him and my family again for all of eternity. That is the greatest blessing I could ever ask for.

How I live my faith

I love to serve my fellow ward members, I am not old enough to hold a calling, but I see how much my mother loves it and I am excited to get one myself!
