Hi I'm Diane

I have 4 kids, 12 darling grandchildren, and just retired from 30 years of teaching preschool. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like traveling, golfing, gardening, amusement parks, camping, football games, and being with family.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the blessings this church brings into my life...a prophet to lead us, the scriptures to guide us, opportunities to serve, associating with good people who are striving to obey the commandments, and knowing I will be with my family forever through the temple.

How I live my faith

I love going to church and coming to better understand how to follow Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to teach the children in our church, as well as the youth, and the women. I have also been on committees which plan activities that provide others the chance to enjoy being together socially. I have volunteered at humanitarian centers and canneries that provide food for the needy.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Diane
Mormon women are very involved in service to others. In addition to serving their family, they are all given assignments to serve in the church. These range from leading the women's organization, the children's organization of the church, and the organization for teenage girls. There are many opportunities to teach in each of these organizations as well as the meetings for the adults to study the scriptures. They are also involved in organizing service opportunities for needs which may come within the community. They are also invited to pray in church, and speak to the congregation. They are an integral part of this church! Show more Show less

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Diane
Mormons enjoy having good, clean, fun. They love doing things with friends and family. There are activities planned through the church where we have the chance to get together socially. Show more Show less
