Hi I'm Jess

I'm from Montana; I love to dance; I'm serving a mission and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am serving a mission in Aguascalientes, Mexico, speaking spanish. I have enjoyed being a missionary more than anything else! Its truly a blessing and a joy. Before the mission attended a year of college and am planning on majoring in nursing and minoring in dance. I loved to rock climb and wake surf in the summer and in the winter I loved snowmobiling and building snow men! I also loved to spend time with my family and friends!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church often allows members to rely on the testimony of others rather than recieving their own. I was that way; I went to church without a clear desire or reason for it. Without a strong testimony of my own I made mistakes and was forced to take a step back and evaluate myself. I realized that I needed the gospel, I needed Christ and his atonement. As I repented and began to truly study the scriptures I found that I was gradually becoming a better and all around happier person. It changed my life drastically and I knew it was something that I couldn't keep all to myself. When I turned 19 I turned my papers in for my mission.

How I live my faith

I have grown up in the church and always attended but it wasn't till high school that I asked myself why I went every week and finally decided to find out for myself that the church is true! So at 16 I became truly converted to the church and to my Saviour, Jesus Christ. I am very excited that I have been given this chance to serve a mission and to share with others what makes me most happy! Before the mission I taught the 4 and 5 year olds at church and I love thier sweet, simple and rumbunctious spirits! I'm sure they taught me more than I taught them!
