Hi I'm manny

i'm a mormon and i live in fort riley kansas but i mainly lived in Mesa , Arizona. I also am a soldier in the ARMY and of God.

About Me

i'm a mormon that enjoys love the lord has for all his children. i am very outgoing person that loves to do activities that include church and working out. The great things i do to have fun are going to my singles branch activities in my home town and making new friends. People say i have a very open personality that brings laughter and friendship. Today i have been mormon for 1 full year and have changed in more positive ways then i can keep count of and i thank the atonement of jesus christ and his love. I also love calling him my big brother jesus.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason i am a mormon is to continue on the path of jesus christ who died for our sins and to make sure others can be saved by the atonement of jesus. i also have a great deal of love for my fellow man here on earth and know threw prayer that this church is true. i prayed for guidance in reading the book of mormon for 2 months and continued to get my answers from the lord and continue to have him answer my pryers in his time. i am grateful for the love of the odd and the sacrifice of jesus christ for my sins. i find that the lord uses the holy spirit to bring me his knowledge to bring back home to the love he has and my family who waits for me. the works in mysterious ways in our life and will always love us through out all eternity. i feel his love through out my soul each day and continue to work on myself and the gospel so i can come back to him forever.

How I live my faith

i live my faith through the gospel of jesus christ and work on my faults by prayers to the lord each day. i know the lord has love for all his children and wants to mold us with i trials we have in this life to help bring strength to others. The atonement of jesus christ that allows us to come back home to our lord in heaven.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

(Doctrine and Covenants 19:16-17). Later, as He hung upon the cross, Jesus again felt the weight of our sins even as He willingly suffered painful death by one of the most cruel methods ever known. Jesus the Christ, page 462 states, “It seems, that in addition to the fearful suffering incident to crucifixion, the agony of Gethsemane had recurred, intensified beyond human power to endure. In that bitterest hour the dying Christ was alone, alone in most terrible reality.” The Savior tells us: “For behold, I... have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer... even as I.” (Doctrine and Covenants 19:16-17) Jesus Christ did what only He could do in atoning for our sins. To make His Atonement fully effective in our individual lives, we must have faith in Christ, repent of our sins, be baptized and confirmed by one having authority, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, obey God’s commandments, receive sacred ordinances, and strive to become like Him. As we do these things through His Atonement, we can return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father forever. Show more Show less
