Hi I'm Steven

Born in Colorado, grew up in California. I love to swim and build computers.

About Me

I am the second youngest of 5. I love to climb, swim, and build computers. Being active and outdoors helps me to relax and calm down. I've spent summers working as a lifeguard, and when I get home from my mission I want to study chemical or mechanical engineering. I've always wanted to play an instrument or two, but I've never been able to put the time into learning the violin or the piano. Working with other people has always been something I've enjoyed, and I tend to spend time with outgoing people. I got my Eagle Scout award when I was very young, and since I have helped scouts advance in rank and leadership.

Why I am a Mormon

Simply put, I am a Mormon because its what I feel is the right thing to do. I have spent hours reading from and praying about the Book of Mormon, and I know it to be the word of God. I was born into the church, but always given the choice of whether or not to attend. I am a Mormon because I have gained wisdom from the Book of Mormon, and have been able to use that to help others through their personal trials.

How I live my faith

Although I am over 18, i still spend a lot of time with the young men of the ward. I attend often, and help the youth plan activities. I bring the bread for the sacrament, and I set up for parties, and take them down when everyone has gone home. Right now I am on a mission, so I spend two years working to help others gain a better knowledge of Jesus Christ.
