Hi I'm Jack

I love the outdoors. I like to run. I love my family. I'm serving a mission in Bogota, Colombia. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am the oldest of six kids. I've lived all over the country. I'm been accepted to college but am deferring to serve a two year mission to Bogota, Colombia. I ran my first half marathon in June 2015 at yellowstone national park. I'm an Eagle scout and love camping. I think, without a doubt, Jackson hole, Wyoming is the most beautiful place in the whole world. I love to create and build things. pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and kalua pig are my biggest weaknesses

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were already Mormons when I was born but did not make me become a member of this church. They let me make my own decision and stayed out of my decision making process. After feeling the spirit and God's love for me I couldn't deny that this was the true church of God. I decided to be baptized. The church makes me happy and by following God's commandments I am protected. I wouldn't want my life to be any different and I love this church so much I have decided to save up for and serve a full-time two year mission. I cannot wait to share my love for Heavenly Father to the people I serve and watch it change their lives for the better as it did mine.

How I live my faith

I am a full-time missionary for my church. Prior to being a missionary, I led the 16-18 year old boys in our local congregation, was the vice president in my bible study class, and helped organize large events where the youth of multiple mormon congregations got together. I am very open about my religious beliefs and participate in community service projects.
