Hi I'm Mike

I am and father of two and an educator. I enjoy spending lots of time with my family.

About Me

I am an educator and a lifelong native of Utah. I spend my days at an elementary school working with children and teachers. I have spent over a decade in education and really enjoy going to work each day because every single day is different. I never know what is going to happen and that is what is great, plus working with dedicated teachers and students is very rewarding. By night and weekend my time is spent with my wife and two children. My family is everything to me and we spend lots of time together. We ride bikes, go for walks, and play at the playground. I enjoy running in the early mornings and riding my bike when I can. I golf and watch sports on TV.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is available to those through the ordinances of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The church itself is the vehicle that helps organize and propel the message of the Savior to all those who want to know what this life is all about. I have faith that I have a loving Father in Heaven who knows me and will help me if I seek it. I know that our lives are not perfect and that we experience challenges and difficulties as we live each day. Jesus Christ is the Savior of mankind and has given every single person the greatest gift anyone could give, He sacrificed His own life for us, that we may live with Him and our families forever. I don't claim to comprehend how it was all accomplished but I have faith and witness that it is true, we need to accept it.

How I live my faith

I work with the men in my ward as part of the priesthood. I have come to find out the the priesthood is never used on oneself, but it is given to help bless the lives of others. I strive to be an example of doing what is right and having faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
