Hi I'm Candace

I was born in Missouri and have lived in Japan, Utah, and Hawaii. I love what I learn from meeting new people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up mostly in Utah. I love volleyball, culture, the beach, and meeting others. I love trying new things and learning about my interests. I am a student at Brigham University-Hawaii. I am considering a major in the social science field. I grew up as a Mormon and I am currently serving a mission in the Taiwan Taichung Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the blessings this Gospel has brought in my life. There have been so many instances in my life where the Gospel has been a great anchor for me. There are many blessings and much strengthening that has come to me through the Gospel. I have had the Spirit bear witness to me that the church is true. Through reading the Book of Mormon and studying the Gospel I learned why I am here on the earth and my purpose here. I know that I can be with my family forever and have eternal happiness through living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I recently had a calling in the church as a family history consultant. In this position I am called to help others of all ages with family history. I help them find their relatives and help them learn more about their relatives. I also have a calling to meet with a Sister. I visit with her, help her if she needs it, and discuss the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. Both of these callings have been really fun.
