Hi I'm Macie

Family first. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports. I love learning. I love drawing in my free time and spending time with my family. I'm not yet attending college but it is my desire to do so. I currently have two jobs, working hard to save up for my LDS mission. I am beyond excited to be able to have the opportunity to serve my Savior! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! I know this is what He wants me to do as well.

Why I am a Mormon

You cannot deny feelings you have. I have chosen to live faithfully in this church because I have felt God's love for me. I wanted to know for myself if the church was true, so I prayed earnestly. There have been countless experiences where the Lord has answered my prayers and I cannot be ungrateful for those answers. The members of the church are not perfect, we make so many mistakes, but the Gospel of Jesus Christ is perfect. And that is my favorite part of this wonderful gospel.

How I live my faith

In my ward I am the ward missionary and it is my responsibility to visit the people in my ward. Just to check up on how they are doing and what's going on in their lives. I do as much as I can to participate in my community because I believe that serving the people around me is what I need to do.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Macie
The Atonement of Jesus Christ is a way for us to repent of our sins because we are imperfect and we make so many mistakes. But the Atonement can help us and we can use it over and over again. Jesus Christ wants us to use it over and over again. Someone had to pay the price of sin. And our brother, Jesus Christ, volunteered to do so because he loves us so much. Because of his sacrifice, we have the chance to return back to our Father in Heaven and live with Him forever. Show more Show less
