Hi I'm Angela

I am a wife, mom, and life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married for 24 years to my college sweetheart, Kirk. We are the parents of five children ages, 22 to 7, three girls and 2 boys. Most of my time is filled with caring for them, but I also love to read, run, walk, hike, and support their activities. Choir, musicals, marching band, track, and other school and sports activities take up most of my time. I grew up in rural Idaho and love the mountains. I went to college in Utah and have a Bachelor's Degree in Conservation Biology.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I am a Mormon because the doctrines, the power, and the truth are found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this Church, we find out where we came from, why we're on earth, and where we're going after we die. The power of God is again on the earth. We can make covenants with God that bind us to Him. Prophets stand at the head of this Church and give us continuing revelation from God. Families are essential to our Heavenly Father's plan for us. As a Mormon, I have access and enjoy promises that link me to my family on earth and after we die. I'm a Mormon because I'm learning to become like Christ by serving my fellow man in a variety of ways. This is Jesus Christ's Church, and I follow Him.

How I live my faith

A large part of my life is serving in my Church. I have had numerous opportunities to serve children, youth, and adults. Right now, I help organize and run a week-long camp for our area's aged 12-18 year old girls. I also visit three women each month in a ministry designed to care for each and every woman in our women's group. My husband and I have one daughter that has recently returned home from an 18-month mission in California, and another daughter is currently serving one in Canada.
