Hi I'm Mike

I am a future software engineer, a gamer, a bookworm, a strategist, a basketball lover, from Michigan, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student majoring in software engineering. I love to think, plan, and strategize, which is what lead me to that career path. Fuethermore, I find that gaming is a great way to hone the strategic mind. As such, I spend most of my free time on the computer. This has lead me to lack social skills, so lately I have been trying to be more social by attending more church activities. It has worked thus far, but I still have a ways to go. I find that reading is relaxing, and I strongly feel that writing is one of the greatest acts of creation man can do. The only true limit is the human mind! I am currently preparing to serve a mission, but have not completed my mission papers yet.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Spirit testifies to me that this church is true. I am filled with light and love when I follow the Gospel, including the knowledge restored in the Book of Mormon. I am happier when I follow the Gospel, and I can see the same joy shared by others. I know that continuouzly striving to come closer to the Lord, He aids you in your righteous endeavors. I say these things in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively attending church and seeking the Gospel. I currently serve in the church by ensuring that sacrament is prepared and that there are enough people to bless and pass the sacrament. I also teach a class some Sundsys and work closely with our missionaries. One of the most important parts of living my faith is to keep doing the simple things - read and study scriptures daily, pray, go to church, attend the temple, and strive to share the beauty of the Gospel with others.
