Hi I'm Madi

I Grew up in Colorado and love the outdoors. I love my family and am grateful for them. I love to sing and dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the city of Colorado Springs with my parents and my two brothers. We loved living in an area where we could spend as much time as we could outside playing and getting dirty. Most days growing up I would be just like one of the boys and would come into the house just as muddy as they were. If I wasn't outside I was dancing. This was just something I did for fun and loved dancing with anyone. I helped me connect with them, but if I wasn't dancing I was singing. More then anything I love to sing. Singing was how I could really express myself and share who I was and what my beliefs were. I know that music is one of my biggest strengths as a person and also in sharing the gospel. My brothers and I grew up in a wonderful area where everyone went to church and had a strong belief in Christ, but most people didn't know to much about the Mormons. I grew up answering lots of questions about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and what we believed. I many ways I was a missionary way before I served a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church with parents who had been members their whole lives, but like with every member I had to grew my own testimony and practice the teaching that I had been taught by my parents and leaders. I had to become truly converted to the gospel and to Christ. I often found myself searching the scriptures and praying to know if all the lessons, family home evenings, and primary lessons where true. I'm a Mormon because I have come to know for myself that the gospel is true. I don't know everything about the church, but things that I do know I have a strong testimony that they are true.

How I live my faith

In many ways I show my faith in how I serve others. Currently I'm serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I spend my days talking to all kinds of people about the church and what we believe. Doing this takes me back to the days where I would share the gospel with my friends in the lunch room, at musical rehearsals, and at different sporting events. As a youth I was preparing myself to be working and serving the Lord each day. I love the people I get to talk with everyday and know that I can help change their lives even if its in a small way like by helping them put a smile on their faces.
