Hi I'm Kenny

I was born and raised in Florida. I'm a missionary. I love everything music, historical, and theater. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love history and music. I play the tuba and bass, and always loved singing as a bass/baritone. Acting has always been a fun pass time, and always love meeting new people. I'm a pretty avid gamer, and prefer anything with a great story. That being said, books are a passion. My absolute favorite things ever (besides the church) are easily Star Wars, World of Warcraft, Dragonball, Lord of The Rings, and comic books. I am incredibly excited to be serving as a missionary for the next twenty-four months in Argentina.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I am a Mormon is because to me, it makes sense. Even though I was born in the church and believed its basic teachings, I did not begin to believe it was the only true church until I went out and figured out for myself what I thought was truth and what I believed made the most sense. I spent a lot of time researching and investigating different faiths. Catholicism, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Methodist, Baptist, and many other different kinds of faiths. I spent decent amount of my middle and high school years studying and observing trying to figure out what felt right. When I was fourteen, my parents had signed me up for a Youth Conference (similar to a church camp) for the church. Though reluctant at first, I agreed to participate, and that's when many of the questions I had always had about life and the church slowly began to be answered. When I was seventeen, the idea of serving a mission began to manifest itself more profoundly than it ever had before in my head, but even then, I still was not one hundred percent sure if the it was the best decision for me, or if the church was in fact the only true church on the earth. With this small doubt still in my head, I decided it was time to diligently study and seek out the scriptures, even more so then I had been. I believed I had to focus on my rebuilding my foundation. It was not until I went back and fully read the Book of Mormon cover to cover and prayed about it, with honest and true intent, did I receive my answer. Since then, everything has just made sense, though I still have much, much more to learn. I have come to know that the church is true, that prophets are called of God to lead his people even in today's age. I know that Joseph Smith was chosen of God to restore Christ true church back to the earth, and that the Atonement is a real and attainable thing. I know that families are in fact eternal, and that we will all have the opportunity to reunite with our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

Currently I will be serving as a missionary in the wonderful country of Argentina, where I will have the opportunity to to teach the gospel to the amazing people that live there. I have spent a lot of time studying the scriptures and getting myself mentally and physically prepared to be a missionary, and always try to be an example of Christ at all times. Whether it be at work, at home, or in town, I always strive to be the best I can.
