Hi I'm Judy Peck

I was born in Washington state but grew up in Rochester, Minnesota. When I was 25 years old I became at a Mormon.

About Me

I am a returned missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS and served in the Tennessee Nashville Mission. Currently I am a seminary teacher and love teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the outdoors and enjoy going to the ocean and hiking in the redwoods of northern California. In my college days I was a wildlife rehabilitator and care passionately for God's creations.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I always believed that there was a reason why we were on earth, that we lived before we came here, and arrived to learn by experience how to progress and improve ourselves. I found the answers I was searching for in the missionary lessons, my own personal scripture study, and the witness of the Holy Ghost that the gospel truths were restored. In a dangerous and troubled world, the gospel brings peace and joy to me and gives me the assurance of wonderful things ahead.

How I live my faith

In addition to teaching seminary, I love doing family history work and attending the temple. Teaching the youth every school day before they head to the high school helps me feel like I am arming them with the Spirit to withstand the challenges they face. Doing temple work helps me look forward to an eternal family made of generations of people who share part of my d.n.a. Meeting those who have gone on before will be such a wonderful event!
