Hi I'm Sarah

I'm born and raised in Utah, play basketball, one day I'll be a nurse, but right now I'm serving my mission in Norway!

About Me

Oh, what to say? I've got an awesome family. They're everything to me. I played basketball in high school and loved it. Taught me some pretty big life lessons, but nothing compared to what I've learned on my mission. I love my mission. It's been the hardest thing I've ever done, but without doubt the best. When I'm not a missionary I really enjoy long naps on the couch, movies, hiking, baking, and hanging out with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it's true. I've had it confirmed to me too many times to not know that. I've tried my best to live the principles taught in The Restored Gospel and I've seen the blessings in my life. I have a testimony that this is Christ's church. I know that He loves me and that He's got a plan for me. I know that in His plan, I end up happier than I could have ever imagined so it just makes complete sense to me to follow Him and do that things He's asked me to do.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by repenting every day and doing my best to help others find Christ. One of my favorite things about The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the endless second chances. I mess up at least 50 times a day and if I didn't know that I could change, ask Heavenly Father to forgive me, and then forget and move forward, I'd be quite a mess. Because of Jesus Christ and His atonement, I get the chance to repent every day. How cool is that?! I can turn to Him, let go of the nasty feelings and burdens that come with my mistakes, become better, and just be so happy! It's just about the best feeling in the world! I love sharing that with other people. President Uchtdorf said "Preach the gospel at all times, and if necessary, use words." The light of Christ is contagious and His grace is sufficient for all! I try to do everything I can to live in such a way that others can see that light in me. As a missionary, I get to use words a lot too and I just love it! Whether it's with or without words, helping people draw closer to The Savior is one of the happiest, greatest things we can do!
