Hi I'm Tom Gore

I grew up in York, England. I love Football. I am a missionary in the Greece Athens Mission and I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Tom and I am from England. I grew up in York, England and I love to play football. I am currently on a mission for the church, I am serving in the Greece Athens Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because It brings so much happiness in my life. Something I love about this Church is our beliefs around families. I find comfort in the knowledge that my family will be together no matter what happens. I love being part of Church which loves people into it rather that scares people into it. This Church is just somewhere were you feel at home where ever you are in the world. It is just one big family and I love that! People genuinely care about each other; We know what we need to do to get to where we need to go. I love being a Mormon, the church is true the book is blue!

How I live my faith

I try my best to be an example to others through following Christ's example. I am currently on a mission in the Greece Athens mission, I want others to feel the happiness I have felt through living my faith. Its not easy to be the odd one out but I know I have the Saviour on my side and with him I can do anything.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Tom Gore
It is not a requirement to go on a mission however it would be encouraged not just for the growth of the church but to grow yourself. The things you learn on a mission will benefit you for eternity and will played a huge part in decision making for the future. The skills you learn as a missionary will help you with jobs, parenthood, future church callings and people in general. It would be an opportunity missed to not enter the mission field. It is a huge investment and one that will change your life for the better. Show more Show less
