Hi I'm Clarisa

I'm from the Philippines. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from college with the degree of BS Entrepreneurship. In college, I used to join business plan competitions.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was in 2nd grade, my family was inactive in the church. One Monday morning, my teacher asked the whole class "who went to church yesterday?" Then, most of my classmates raised their hands. When I got home, I asked my father why didn't we go to church every Sunday? I told him my experience and encourage him to go to church on the coming Sunday. Since then, I and my father attend the sacrament and church meetings every Sunday. As time passes by, my mother and my siblings also came with us. I grew up in the church. I have felt Heavenly Father's love for me since then. I have seen in my family the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have witness the importance of serving others and missionary work in building the kingdom of God. I have a strong testimony that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live. They love each one of us. I have felt their presence in my life everyday, even in happy and/or depressing moments. Every time I pray, I always felt comforted and warm feeling of their love. I know God is always with us. I know that I am nothing without Him. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I have read it and always reading it. Until now, I get amazed of God's power. I know Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and he has been an instrument of God in restoring the gospel. I know that "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" is the true church. I prayed for it and the Holy Ghost confirmed it to me.

How I live my faith

Right now, I serve as one of the leaders of young women in our ward. Every first Sunday of the month, I am assigned to teach them. In every lesson I prepare, I am thinking how would it help them to come closer to Jesus Christ. I always remind them how much Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love them. As a leader, we organize weekly activities for them that will prepare them to be worthy of the temple covenants, for motherhood and in building righteous family to God.
