Hi I'm Killian

I grew up in California, I enjoy running, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to run, read, write, and also I enjoy public speaking! When I run my mind feels clear, and I can think about things. It's like nothing can stop me. I love reading and like to read things that stretch my mind. I write in my free time. As for public speaking I love expressing my opinions to crowds, or having deep and well thought discussions with groups.

Why I am a Mormon

I always believed in God and Jesus. I never doubted them. I knew Jesus had atoned for me, and I knew He was there when I prayed. I struggled to gain a testimony of the Book of Mormon. I read it, cover to cover, and prayed constantly that I could 'know if it were true'. Finally after re-reading it, I asked, 'how is it not true'? To was completely comparable to the Bible. It reinforced it's teachings. I knew then the Book of Mormon was true! I also knew in that moment as I prayed I needed to serve a mission. I never had such a great desire to share the word of God. As I read the Doctrine and Covenants I prayed to know their truth, and received confirmation thy were. I prayed about Joseph Smith, and if he was was prophet. This only confirmed the truth of the Book of Mormon. Joseph Smith sacrificed everything for the Book. He was called a liar, prosecuted, tar and feathered, his family was given trials, and was tormented. I know no matter what, I could not put my family through that. Joseph Smith asked his brother to go to Carthage Jail with him. He knew what was going to happen. And their is no way I could ask my brother to go to the slaughter with me, for any reason. Not to cover up a lie or get fame. There is no way he would have done that for a book that was a lie. The Book of Mormon is true, and so is the bible. It is the word of God!

How I live my faith

I have had many callings throughout my youth and decided at the age of 15 I wanted to serve a mission! Shortly thereafter general conference came up and lowered the missionary age. Now I am elder! I have just been called to serve in Montana! I am more the ecstatic!
