Hi I'm Brian

I grew up in Cedar Hills, Utah and went to Lone Peak High School. I love to play guitar, sing, and play sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite things to do are play guitar, sing, play sports and hang out with friends. I've been playing guitar for almost seven years, and it is easily one of my favorite hobbies. In high school, I played for our school's Ultimate Frisbee team, where we won several state championships and traveled across the country to compete in several national tournaments.

Why I am a Mormon

I guess the main reason I'm a Mormon is because I grew up in the church. For the longest time, I believed the church was true simply because my parents did, and because I grew up where I did, so did everyone around me. I never really doubted in the truthfulness of the gospel, but I never fully believed it either until my freshman year at BYU when I decided for sure that I was going to serve a mission. I tried harder to gain a testimony for myself that this was the true gospel of Jesus Christ, and over time I came to believe.

How I live my faith

I'd say that the biggest way I live my faith is by trying to be a good example to others. I have always had great friends who have been good examples to me, and I've tried to return the favor by being good examples to them and others around me. I love all types of music and I think that music is one of the quickest ways to enter any person's heart. It says in the scriptures that "the song of the righteous is a prayer unto [our Father in Heaven]" and I can testify that by listening and playing uplifting and inspiring music, we truly can come closer to our Heavenly Father.
