Hi I'm Wesley

I grew up in the Denver area of Colorado. I like to Have fun and make people happy. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I like to DJ, go on hikes, camping, boating, driving cars a little faster than I should, playing games with friends and family and being a friend to everyone I come in contact with! I am a weird guy and I love to make people laugh! I do what I can to make everyones day brighter and I try to serve those around me in whatever ways I can. I have a fascination in Electric Cars and hope to be part of that industry someday. I plan on attending college after my mission in Las Vegas, NV. I currently intend on going to school for Electrical Engineering and I am thinking about Minoring in Music Production which are two very different sides of the spectrum I know! I can't ever get enough music in my life yet I aspire to be a part of the Electric Car industry.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was younger I just believed everything my parents told me. As I grew older, like other kids, I went through a rebellious phase and started questioning my parents. Along with that I started questioning my religion. I felt so restricted by all the "rules" so I went with my friends and did whatever I wanted, going to parties, clubs and friends houses. Nothing could stop me, I felt invincible. But there was one day, I remember, that I saw my life and where it was. I looked at where I had been and saw where I was going and got scared. I had no idea what to do, I felt so small and destroyed as I saw the dumb stuff I had done and all the people, friends and even family I had hurt. I turned to a close family member of mine who, in short, told me that I need to start going to church. Seeking the happiness I wanted, I started doing that and I felt the effect Jesus Christ's Atonement for the first time in my life. It was absolutely life changing, I happy for the first time in a long time and weight I had on my shoulders was lifted. I was able to make steps back on the path I want and even need to be on. Now I am here serving as a missionary and I get to help people in Las Vegas go through the same life changing experience I had, coming closer to Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission for my church in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission for 2 years! I am out here bringing God's message of happiness to everyone and giving up my own time to serve everyone in the best ways I can.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Absolutely not. Mormons are more selfless than they are selfish. You can ask a missionary to do almost anything and without questioning they will get right to work. Throughout my life I've helped more people than I can count and I knew probably 5% of them. Mormons strive to help others far more than you might expect and it brings joy an happiness to all that are involved. Show more Show less
