Hi I'm Mitchell

I have a small obsession with plants. One day I want to visit all the famous old buildings in the US. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family of 5 in Utah. And the truth is that growing up I was one the biggest introverts you could ever meet. I was shy, but thankfully I had a few good friends that helped me through that terrible time called High School. Then I really discovered who I was at college. I am an analytical person and so I always thought that I would do something with my life that was really technical like Engineering. But I love being creative too and being outside in nature. So I desided that I was going to change everything and focus on the more organic side of life and my current obsession with plants began! I love walks. Trees, flowers, and nature will always get me excited. But I love more than just nature. I find old buildings fascinating! I see buildings and I want to explore them, learn how they work and find all the hidden back corners. Exploring is has really become one of my great passions. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for my entire life. And I could not be more greatfull for my membership in His Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I makes me feel good and the knowledge it gives me helps me every day, not just in life after death. Throughout my life I have had special experiences when the Spirit has come to me and touched my heart. These feelings have brought me peace, comfort, joy, and hope when I needed it most. I love our Heavenly Father. I love Jesus Christ. I know they live because the Spirit of the Lord has witnessed it to me. And this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has helped me learn more about them than I would ever have on my own.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying every day to give the Lord my best effort. I attend Sunday meetings and any other meetings that I am advised to attend. But the real effort that I put forth is in the quiet moments of each day. I give to the Lord my time in order to read the Scriptures, ponder on them, pray about the truth of what I am reading, and then make a solid effort to apply the principals in my life.
