Hi I'm Rosa garcia

I was born in Mexico, I'm the second oldest of 9 kids of a wonderful mother. I'm a full time missionary! and I'm a Mormon

About Me

The Mormon missionaries found my family and I by knocking doors, they kept coming and teaching my siblings and I. My siblings started reading and praying and little by little they started to be baptized, it took me a little bit longer to commit to do the things Heavenly Father needed me to do. but the missionaries were always there helping me see the bigger picture and helping me see what Heavenly Father needed from me. I'm so thankful for them and their desires to help me become the person I was born to be. I'm so thankful for this gospel and for all the peace and happiness it bring to my life and to my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because i have prayed to my Father in Heaven to know that this is the church of Jesus Christ, and i can feel the spirit every time i come to church or participate in an activity. The book of Mormon has helped me so much to come closer to my Heavenly Father. I know without a doubt in my mind or heart that this is his church and that he loves me and he wants nothing but the best for all of us. That's why he has given us the restored gospel, I know that if I follow what he needs me to do he will help me throughout my life. I know that I will be able to be with my family for eternity because that's part of the amazing plan he has for all his children.

How I live my faith

After I was baptized I kept reading the book of Mormon and the bible and praying to my Heavenly Father, and as one of my answers to my prayers I realized I needed to go and serve a full time mission. Now I'm serving in the Santa Rosa mission and I get to share that same happiness that the missionaries brought to my families life with other families and help them come closer to our savior Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven

What do Mormons believe about family?

Rosa garcia
We believe that families are one of the most important principles. Our Heavenly Father provided a plan for us and because he loves us He has blessed us with the opportunity to be in families. Whether that be a blood related family or one full of many close friends. A family is a loving place where we are able to grow, learn, and progress into the person our Heavenly Father knows we can be. Something that drew my attention to the church was their claim that families could be together forever. Through the power of the priesthood in this church we believe that we can be sealed as families that will last throughout eternity. Show more Show less
