Hi I'm Tyler

I was raised in Utah. I graduated with two college degrees before I graduated high school. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest in a family of three. We all grew up in the gosple. Unfortunatly, my dad was less active in the church and my parents divorced. I decided to live with my dad, and I started playing a lot of online computer games. They were an escape for me. As my dad and I healed, he came back to church and I started to become interested in programming. My dad remarried as I started to attend an early college high school. My mother also remarried at about the same time. My parents supported me in my schoolwork and I began working on a degree in general studies at my early college high school. One night it occured to me that if I worked really hard my junior and senior years of high school, I could also get a degree in computer science. I loved the idea. Now, I have the two degrees, two loving families, and I am now serving a two year mission for the church.

Why I am a Mormon

My first loyalty is to God. He has told me that this church is His kingdom on earth. In it, learning God's true doctrine is easier. Through the church, he provides opportunities to serve in his priesthood. These responsibilities help His children become more like the Savior. All of the revealed ordinances of the gospel can be found in His church, with His priesthood authority. I know that God lives, and that He loves me. I know that through my Savior, I can live with my Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My companion and I teach the gospel to everyone we come in contact with. We help others find the answers from God that they are looking for. We help them to feel the Spirit of God. Knocking on doors is lots of fun as a missionary because you get to meet lots of people. Many people don't want to talk to us, but most of them are very kind. For a hour every day, we study the scriptures. We prepare and plan for at least two hours a day. We give our all to our missions, no video games, dating, hobbies, and even communication with our family. We try to focus all of our thoughts on the Savior and His teachings. In return, we get to see the Savior change lives. We get the privilege of seeing the Lord's hand in His work.
