Hi I'm Taylor Regis

I live for loud music and the snow. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Just your average statistics student who cuts his own hair to save money. That saved money is blown on Sushi. Skiing is so chill. I really picked it up in high school and went shredding several times a week with my buddies. Doing thrilling stuff up there is my favorite thing, even if the failed back flips and cliffs hurt. The mountains and the snow is my home.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, however everybody must at some point or another become converted for themselves. Simply put, I can see the difference between having the gospel in life and not. The gospel makes me so happy!! My life would be so empty and hopeless without the love of my Savior and the knowledge of his sacrifice for me. I love him and my Father in Heaven so I follow them.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by following my Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the role model and constant example in my life. I have been leaders in youth groups and teaching positions, including being a full-time missionary. Respecting others is number 1. I would never claim to be the best, but trying to live to put a smile on God's face puts one on mine. Choosing to be happy is so important!

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

Taylor Regis
We dress in nice clothing for church services. Men usually wear collared shirts, ties, slacks, and/or suits. Women will wear skirts, dresses, or other nice, modest clothing. Children also get to dress up too! However, even if you do not have this kind of attire, never feel out of place attending. We love everybody regardless of how they look. We celebrate many Holidays! Christmas and Easter especially as they symbolize the birth and resurrection of Christ. Birthdays, anniversaries, and other cultural holidays are all accepted. Personally, my favorite holiday is Halloween. The church sponsored parties are also fantastic. Show more Show less
