Hi I'm Gergő

I am Hungarian. I am a twin and the oldest of four. I love to have fun and make memories. I'm a wanna be artist. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and grew up in the beautiful country of Hungary. I studied sculpturing in high school and worked as a designer for many years. I always was the dumb guy at school and I was never aiming to go to university but my full time mission in England changed me. I'd like to get the highest education that I can receive so now I'm ready to be the oldest dude in the class. I am motivated by fun. If something potentially can end up with a big laugh I'll do it. I strive to enjoy every single moment of my life and make as much memories as I can. I spend a lot of time drawing indoors and playing sports outdoors. I'm not very good at any of those, I'd like to develop my talents a bit further but regarding sports... I will always be a fatty because I enjoy eating way too much. I have a passion for anything that has wheels and rolls on the road. I love cycling longer or shorter distances. My favorite thing to do is ride my fixie at night in the middle of a busy city when it's raining. I spend a lot of time on fixing and building bikes and cars. I've never learned how to do it, but I feel confident enough to take things apart and than I have no other chance than putting it back together.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the place, for me, where I can learn and know more about my Heavenly Father and whom He sent, Jesus Christ. I believe by applying the teaching of His church I am applying the fullness of His Gospel and that fullness is not available in any other churches. I'm a Mormon because my leaders in the church receive revelation directly from Jesus Christ to best help me every day. Their priesthood helps me to learn and to repent, to change for the better and that will allow me one day to enter into the presence of my Heavenly Father. Through the same priesthood power I can receive saving ordinances such as baptism or the sacrament and it makes other ordinances for eternity available for me so I can live not just with God but with my family as well in the life to come. For me the doctrines taught in the church make sense and feel good. I firmly believe that by living them I'll feel the love of my Heavenly Parents. It is so simple, when ever I do something that the prophets of old in the scriptures or the modern day prophets ask me I am blessed in ways that I know that those are from God. I love my family so much. I'd like to spend eternity with them and I know that it is possible if we all try to follow Christ's teachings. The time that I have to live here on this Earth is extremely short so I can't afford to not be a Mormon. I have to make sure that I do everything that I can so I can chill for eternity. As I keep the commandments and live according to the covenants that I've made and most importantly seek for correction from my leaders and repent every day I work my way to heaven.

How I live my faith

My faith for me is not just a one day a week thing. Every day I try to keep the laws and commandments of my Heavenly Father. I strive to show Him that I love Him and respect Him by doing everything that He asks me to do. Sometimes He calls us to serve others in different ways in the church. I had the chance to teach young children or those that are searching or recently found faith in Jesus Christ on Sundays. I had opportunities to work together with the best leaders in my local church to organise camps and conferences both for teenagers and young adults. I very much enjoy creating environments and organising activities where people can have fun and enjoy eachother's company. In my daily life I'm trying to follow our Saviour's example and serve and help other as He did. I have been blessed with skills that others may be lacking so I can help others and on the other side I have many weaknesses that humble me and help me accept other's help.
