Hi I'm Jenna

I live in Utah. I am a special education teacher, a lover of the outdoors, a finder of new hobbies, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of four children. All of my siblings have mild special needs. This inspired me to study special education in college and become a special education teacher. My life has been touched and enhanced significantly by my family and my students. Family and the gospel are everything to me! I have never been married, but I look forward to the day when I will be able to raise and teach my own children along with my husband. In the meantime, I have focused on learning and growing. I love finding new hobbies. Snowboarding, camping, playing the violin and ukulele, and photography are just a few of the things I love to do! Life is so rich with opportunities and blessings! We should look for them on a daily basis!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father! Through their plan for me, I can return to live with them someday and also become like them! I am a Mormon because I am not perfect, but by living the teachings of Jesus Christ, I can one day become perfect like He is. I am a Mormon because I love helping and serving others and because that is what the gospel of Jesus Christ is all about. My beliefs are so dear to my heart, and I strive each day to live them. But if I fall short, there is always a way back to the right path through repentance. The gospel allows me to improve myself each day and to help others do the same. That is why I am a Mormon. :)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church services weekly, serving others, and striving to study the gospel of Jesus Christ on a daily basis. I study the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and words of modern prophets and apostles of the Lord on the earth. In church, I have the blessing and opportunity to participate in an organization for women called Relief Society. I attend meetings in a congregation of young single adults who are between the ages of 18 and 31. Here I am so blessed to learn from men and women my own age who are facing the same challenges I am facing. We help and strengthen and serve each other, and I am blessed by the service of others as well as by the opportunity to lift and serve those around me.
