Hi I'm Gregory Gevon Buck

Grew up in Athens, Alabama. I'm the first of my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Gevon I love art, music, sports, dancing. I wanna go into Sports Medicine when i go to college. I'm a very out going, adventurous kind of person. I love chicken! basically anything chicken I eat. I love getting to know people and about there lives. Its like a living book listening to peoples lives. I like all kinds of music I've never been a type to picky and choose a certain type. Another thing is I love making people happy, it brightens my day to see people smile and live life to the fullest.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with a lot of responsibility on my shoulders and had to give up a lot of my life as a teenager to help my parents with either bills, my brothers and sisters or, around the house. I finally got the opportunity to go out when I was 18 and finally live and do things my friends did. Well when you miss years you wanna catch up with yours friends and do what they did. I got into things I shouldn't have and I watch my life go completely down hill. I was always stressed put God to the side and said I can do it myself but I was wrong. I was in so much stress one night I finally kneeled down and ask Father in heaven to help me and to come back in my life, that I needed his help and guidance. the Next day Sister Missionaries came to my door step. I was so shocked but yet confused because I had no idea who they were or what they stood for. They eventually told me who they were and what there purpose was and they invited me to a church activity. I took the offer and that's where I met the elders and some of the YSA (Young Single Adults) at and we played ultimate Frisbee. after a few hours a ultimate Frisbee the elders pulled me to the side and taught the plan of salvation. As they was teaching I could feel something telling me to listen closely and listen to the message. After the message they invited me to prayer and as I prayed I felt a calm, safe, and amazing feeling come over me, right then and there I knew there message was true. So I continued to take lessons and was baptized August 9, 2014. I'm truly blessed to have this message in my life and I know it can bless yours. Im Gevon and I'm a Mormon

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my daily life at work, ward activities, and also through my personal life. I'm Currently a Ward Missionary which basically is I help go teach the gospel with the missionaries in our ward and to help and assist activities with missionaries. I also show my faith through helping others and giving them advice on there day or any problems that he or she might need help and guidance with. I also show it by going and doing home teaching and spreading the word to families who want and need the message.
