Hi I'm Lauren

I'm a Colorado girl and BYU student. Called to serve in the Milwaukee Wisconsin Mission speaking Spanish. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have four younger brothers and I love to be with my family. As a family we love to do just about anything- including boating, water skiing, traveling, going to each other's sporting events, playing games, and eating. I'm a sophomore at BYU and I love it there. I have been called to serve in the Milwaukee Wisconsin Mission speaking Spanish from October 2015-April 2017 and I can't wait to be a missionary and to teach the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this gospel brings so much joy and happiness in my life! I know that through Christ, I can be comforted, lifted, and have eternal life. I know that because of Him I get to be with my family forever and that brings me so much happiness! I'm a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is truly the word of God, provides truth and direction in my life, and is the cornerstone of our religion. I know that Joseph Smith restored this true gospel on the earth and that President Monson is the living prophet today and I am so thankful that we have a prophet and apostles that can guide us and receive revelation for our day. I'm a Mormon because I know that I am a child of a Heavenly Father who loves me and I am working to live with him again someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith my regularly praying to Heavenly Father and studying the scriptures. I live my life in accordance to the standards and teachings of the gospel and always look to the Holy Ghost for guidance. In the church, I have worked in class presidencies and been a teacher in various settings. I try to serve as much as I can and show people that I love them. For the next 18 months, I'll be a missionary in Wisconsin and I'm going to teach people and work to bring them closer to Christ.
