Hi I'm Renae

Born and raised in a beautiful state called Washington. Called to serve in the Texas Houston South mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest of four children. I was born and raised in Washington and spent a lot of my youth playing volleyball, participating in my school choir, and being around my family and friends. I have a crazy yet lovable dog who is a huge part of our family. I am currently preparing to serve a full time mission in Houston South Texas and look forward to devoting my time and strength to the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I can't imagine where I would be at this time if I was not a member of this church. It has given me hope in times when I needed it the most, and I have seen it lift people up from their lowest points in life. The gospel brings me so much happiness knowing that I have the chance to be with my family forever and that my Heavenly Father has provided a way back for me to return to Him. Listening to a talk from a church leader, I distinctively remember his powerful words saying, "a saint is a sinner who keeps on trying". With that in my mind I learned that being Mormon doesn't require you to be perfect in everything you do. It just requires you to try. Since then I have always put in more effort in drawing myself closer to Jesus Christ and my Father in Heaven, and I have not regretted any of it since. I love being a Mormon and wouldn't choose to be anything else.

How I live my faith

I simply do my best to follow the teachings and example of my Savior, Jesus Christ. He has sacrificed so much and blessed me with wonder people in my life and a wonderful home, the least I can do is dedicate my thoughts and actions towards Him. Being born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, sometimes I might come across something I don't completely understand. Over the years in my youth I have learned that it is in the simple truths that lie feelings of true peace and happiness. When you are pondering in your hearts Jesus Christ's doctrine and God's love for us, it makes it so much easier to live your faith and testify of it.
