Hi I'm Linda

I grew up in Alberta, Canada, lived in the Midwest for 35 years. I love family history. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a retired tax consultant and administrative assistant for a nonprofit association. I love to travel, go to the gym, and research my ancestors. Our bucket list includes visiting all states in the U.S. - only two left. I'm married to a wonderful husband and have four children and 14 grandchildren. My mother turned 100 in 2015!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 14, my parents and I were converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I had lots of support from the Church youth during my high school years. I always knew Jesus Christ was my Savior even when not a member and I found the LDS church added so much more to my understanding. When I went away to college, I had awesome roommates who were examples of faith to me. After accepting the challenge to read the Book of Mormon, an additional testament of Jesus Christ, in two months, I felt the spirit so strong. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true!

How I live my faith

My husband and I served as hosts in the Salt Lake City Conference Center for five years meeting people from all over the world. We are also family history consultants helping those interested in familysearch.org which is available to everyone. I'm the "old buzzard" behind my three sons becoming Eagle scouts. Now we are senior missionaries, living at home, and serving in our area as member and leader support.
