Hi I'm Taylor

I was born with muscular dystrophy. I love reading, painting, playing the piano and spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born with congenital muscular dystrophy. I don't have life threatening conditions, but my body's physical capabilities are reduced. As I reflect back on my short, but experienced life, I know that I have been able to accomplish more in my life by having muscular dystrophy than if I was born without it. Instead of focusing on building strong physical capabilities I have instead worked on building mental strength. I have been blessed with the opportunities to practice painting, playing the piano, building robots, programming and other mental pursuits. Through every experience in my life, I can only testify that God knows what is best for us, and that our trials are blessings. Right now I am studying at BYU, and preparing to serve a two year mission in Jackson Mississippi.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is the right thing to do. People receive big spiritual confirmations which is great, but I think that the spirit manifests itself differently to every individual. I know that for me the spirit is more subtle. In this manner, he has manifested the truth of the gospel to me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by daily studying the scriptures and praying. I'm preparing to serve a mission in Jackson Mississippi so that I can share this wonderful gospel with God's children.
