Hi I'm S. Rose Dye

I am an Idahoan. I love to sing, I'm Homeschooled and I love my country, Freedom, and most of all the Gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of ten children and it is a full time job to be a good example to them as a sister and a bar raiser for my ambitions family. I enjoy reading, singing, swimming and being the person I want to be and am. I have always been a singer, maybe a shy one but I can't remember a time were i was singing. when I was 14 my mother and I volunteered for a Musical choir production. In our ward was a vocal professor. My mother asked her if my voice was mature enough to start voice lessons and that was the turn to one of the greatest experiences in my life. I started out as cleaning for my lessons then starting to try it out on my own, but one thing I have learned was that the best songs come from the heart. I always try to improve and progress in all I am. Recently I wondered how I could improve my sing. During a Sacrament meeting that I was about to sing a solo I prayed and an amazing experience occurred. When ever I sing now I dedicate my song to Christ and sing my testimony. I have found that my songs no matter if it is church songs or the ones I sing on the radio they always more powerful and inspiring. Music is a prayer to God and I have found dedicating my music to God and Christ both inspires and leads me closer to them. I always dedicate my songs to him now and if it is not the kind of song I would dedicate to God and Christ I don't sing it. Song are the prayer of the heart and I want my prayers to go to God

Why I am a Mormon

I am the descendant of many Mormons before me, but growing older it became more and more clear that being born in a way of living and actual conversion comes from personal search, prayer, fasting and pondering. It is not always easy but I know and found out for myself and I am still find more and more each day. My testimony is in faith and Jesus Christ that he does hear us and does want us to return back to him, his Father and he wants us to come home and he gave us his all that we might have this experience to become like our Father in Heaven, and paid the price that if we turned to him and obeyed him we can be forgiven and come back to him. I know that the LDS church is the true church of God and that Joseph Smith did bring the Restoration in obedience to commandments of God. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God and leads us faithfully and loyally by obedience to God. I love them and know this to be true through the Holy Ghost. in the name of Jesus Christ Amen

How I live my faith

I am a primary assistant, part of the events for our church women. Mostly I live my faith teaching my siblings as a home-school teacher as we strive to bring Jesus Christ and the Gospel in every subject doing our best to see the "testimony" that all things testify of Christ. This has helped me in my calling assisting in the younger Sunday school classes helping bear my testimony to the young children that see everything beautiful and more clearly see and bear there testimonies best. Service is a huge part of my life and being part of the activity comity has helped me to see the good and testimony of others as we come together to help and strengthen one another.
