Hi I'm Brock

I grew up in North Logan, Utah. I am a baseball player who graduated from Sky View High School, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing sports, specifically baseball. I'm the second child in a family with four children and a mother. My father was a pilot and passed away in an airplane accident when I was five years old. I am currently a missionary serving in Berlin German. I love to listen to music, hang out with my friends, and do outdoor adventures (like going 4-wheeling, camping, etc). I am an Eagle Scout. I have always dreamed of taking a vacation to Paris, Hawaii, or Brasil.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because, as I have lived the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I have felt a confirmation within me that its teachings are true. My parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents have lived based on these teachings and have found happiness and peace despite trials in their lives. This Church blesses my life and the lives of so many people with that same peace and happiness, which testifies to me daily that it is true. Since my father's death 13 years ago, I find great comfort in knowing that my dad still lives and watches over me and my family. This is because I have been taught that families can be together forever, if we choose to live in a way that allows us to receive that blessing. The older I get, the more I realize that, despite cultural differences and characteristics that make us different, we are all brothers and sisters with the same needs of belonging together. I know that we are all children of a Heavenly Father and a Heavenly Mother. We have a God, who is this Heavenly Father, and He has a Son, Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ, we are allowed to grow from both good and bad choices, and both fair and unfair experiences. He was perfect, yet accepted unfair experiences to satisfy the demands of justice and to offer us the blessing of His mercy and grace. This is great news that I want to share with all those whom God places in my circle of influence.

How I live my faith

I participate in living my faith by serving in leadership responsibilities and in teaching both youth and other members of my church. By living my faith, I have tried to make a positive impact on my teammates, friends, and others around me. I encourage others to live with high standards and to respect the choices and agency of others.
