Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm a dancer. I'm a barbershop enthusiast. I love spending time exploring the great outdoors and drinking smoothies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just recently graduated from high school and currently live with my amazing parents. Growing up I was an only child, but that didn't stop me from staying busy! Besides spending time with friends and family, music is a HUGE part of my life. I've played piano since I was 10. I was in a women's barbershop and choral choir for two years where I sang lead and soprano. If I'm not singing in a choir, you can often hear me in the car or shower. Dance is another passion of mine; I was in a company for two years when I was younger and then was in classes for all four years of high school. Modern, jazz, and Bollywood are just a few of my favorites!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it brings an incredible sense of joy, hope, and peace to my otherwise crazy life. I've been a member my whole life; I love this gospel with all my heart and don't know where I'd be without it. Just because I try my best doesn't mean I'm even nearly perfect and that I don't experience hard times - trials are inevitable. Having the knowledge that I'm a daughter of God and He knows me personally helps me get through any difficult thing I face. I know Jesus Christ is my older brother who atoned for my sins and has felt everything that I ever have and ever will. I know families can be together forever because of His great plan. I hope by living in a manner that is pleasing to Heavenly Father, that I can somehow help others come unto Christ and also find the blessings and indescribable happiness that I cherish dearly. I can't wait to serve a mission and become a witness of this true and everlasting church. I know it. I live it. I love it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively participating in my church. I've had many leadership positions while in the group of girls age 12-18. Graduating from seminary is an accomplishment I'm proud of and I had the wonderful opportunity of having the calling of president my senior year. Now that I'm 19, I am preparing to serve in the Nebraska Omaha mission from October 2015 to April 2017!!!
