Hi I'm Alayna

I'm a future Elementary School Teacher. I'm a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from high school about a year ago and then went to a year of college at BYU-Idaho. I am currently serving a mission in Vancouver, Washington. I love to read, play the piano and flute, and be outdoors with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the things that I learn in this church are true. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book, that Joseph Smith translated it, and that he was a prophet of God. I know that Thomas S. Monson is God's prophet on the earth today and that God gives him revelation on how to best help members of the Church. I know that Jesus Christ really did suffer for our sins and that He is the only way we can get back to our Father in Heaven. I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true and because living what it teaches me makes me happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to keep Sunday holy because I know that is what God wants me to do. I also try my best to not only read the words that our Heavenly Father has given us (The Bible, The Book of Mormon, and the words of the current Prophet and Apostles) but I also try to live the things that it teaches me and become a better person, which is something I know my Heavenly Father would want me to do. As a missionary, I dedicate all of my time for 18 months to God by doing my best to help His children learn about His church on the earth today.
