Hi I'm Josie

I grew up in Utah. I love the Mountains and anything active. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I love to get to know people, even strangers. I love to learn your life stories and relate to it. I am fairly athetlic and love to watch and play any kind of sports especially soccer, football, and basketball. I love spending time in the mountains. Whenever I have free time I love to go on a hike, mountain bike, fish, or just be in the outdoors. I am doing one semester of college before I leave on my mission and I have no idea what I am going to do as a career. Right now I am nannying and I own my own lawn mowing business. It is hard work but it pays off in the end. I love to adventure and can't wait for the next one.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church on the earth. I know I have a Heavenly father who loves and cares about me. I know Jesus Christ is the son of god and the savior and redeemer of the world. He died for me and atoned for my sins and as a result I can see my family after death, be forgiven of my sins and feel his presence as long as I am living worthily. I know Christ has felt every pain and hardship I have ever felt. I know because of this, I don't have to go through life alone. He is there comforting me, guiding me, protecting me, and won't leave me. If I ever feel I am disconnected from his spirit it is because I am not letting him in or have done something not in accordance with his teachings. He is always there for everyone. His church welcomes and invites everyone. A person does not have to be a member to feel the love of Christ from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We are taught to love and serve everyone. I know my Savior, Jesus Christ loves and know me. He is the son of God and the savior and redeemer of the world. Because of him I can return to live with my Father in Heaven one day and strive to follow his example.

How I live my faith

I attend the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints every Sunday. However, my "church" does not that end there. Throughout the week I visit and talk to ward members to see how they are doing and if there is anything I can do for them. I do not limit myself to just Sunday worship. I take LDS Religion classes during the week and attend church meetings that can occur during the week.
