Hi I'm Karina

I grew up in Arizona, I believe in positivity and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Social Work student at BYU-I and I have a passion for helping others realize their potential. I love to read and play the piano but I also love to be outdoors. I am the oldest of 3 girls and I always strive to be a good example to them. My dad is a life long member of this church and baptized my mom when they were dating. Through my mom's testimony I have come to understand the joy this gospel can bring. After a year of school I finally decided to humble myself before God and ask what His will for my life was. As a result of that prayer I am now preparing to serve a mission in Brazil. I am so thankful for the opportunity I have to serve the Lord and share this gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the truth of it through sincere prayer. I know that I have a loving Father in Heaven that wants the very best for me, and if we ask Him for wisdom He will bless us with it. I have seen the change in people as they come unto Christ and that is how I know the truth of this church. I am a Mormon because it is not just another church but it is a way of life, and it does bring happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example through the way in which I live my life. I have been a teacher at church for the 3-5 yr olds and I love the simplicity and authenticity of their testimonies. I try to share the things I know to be true whenever I have the opportunity.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Karina
We believe that the family is the central part of God plan. On this earth we are meant to strive to build eternal families centered on this gospel. Families bring so much happiness as we learn from each other and help one another on this path of personal progression. We believe that families are forever and can live in happiness in the world to come. Show more Show less
