Hi I'm Whitney Griffin

I love traveling, watching movies, and laughing. I am a college student studying American Sign Language and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am in college, preparing to become a full time missionary for the Church. I have been to Utah Valley University and BYU-Idaho. I loved them both! I love playing the guitar, finding new music, hiking, taking photos and mostly just laughing! I love meeting new people and traveling. One of my passions is American Sign Language. I have always found it so interesting. I took a ASL class in high school. I fell in love with the language. And now that is my major in College! I love everything about it. Movies and soda are some of my guilty pleasures. I love staying busy and having fun with whatever I am doing!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have felt the love that Heavenly Father and the Savior, Jesus Christ have for me. I have felt it often and know that when I feel Their love for me, it makes me want to be better. When going to church and to other church activities I can always feel peace. When doing the principles of the gospel, my life always falls into place. We have a true and living prophet here on earth, and know that he guides in the way that the Lord wants.

How I live my faith

I love everything about my faith. The people, the teaching and the lifestyle. It really does make me so happy. I go to church every week. I have had various callings in my wards. I have been an activities leader, I was the ward choir director. I always try my best to please Heavenly Father and the Lord with whatever calling I receive. Each Sunday when I attend church I try hard to feel the Holy Ghost, and try to improve myself for the better for the following week. As I read my scriptures and pray daily, I can always feel the spirit and feel comforted. Prayer is one of the most important things in my life. I always feel so good when praying to Heavenly Father. I feel like things will always work out, and that He will direct me when I follow the Saviors teachings. I try my best to follow the commandments the Savior has taught, and listen to the counsel that our Prophet and Apostles give.
