Hi I'm Howard Braden Holt

I'm from Layton Utah. I'm a son. I'm a brother and a friend. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a High School graduate. I love sports, basketball is my favorite, I also ski in the winter, but I will play or watch pretty much anything! I also love going camping and spending time hiking and enjoying the outdoors. I will be attending college at Dixie State after my mission. I have loved learning of the gospel through years seminary. I sing a little bit too...(just for fun though) and I love to learn and read and just hang out and have quality time with others :) My family and God are the most important things in the world to me. I love my parents and my siblings!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member from birth, but as I have grown up I have identified things in the church and teachings that I have come to know for myself that they are true. I love the Book of Mormon and the Bible, they have helped me in many aspects of my life, but specifically have helped me come to understand my Saviors love for me. I know that Joseph Smith was the Prophet of the Restoration and I have a testimony of the priesthood power that I have seen in my own life. I have a firm testimony that the leaders of this church are inspired and chosen by God, and I sustain them with my whole being. I love God. He is Good!

How I live my faith

I have lived my faith by being a home teacher in my ward. I have had callings in the church that have granted me many opportunities to preside and to serve my peers. These callings have been great learning experiences in leadership and loving all of those whom I serve :) I am currently serving a full time mission in the Ohio Cleveland Mission and love to spread the good news of the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have also found that the scriptures have been a great influence of my testimony of the gospel. A serious daily study of the scriptures will do more for you in the long haul than most anything else, to draw you closer to Christ. That coupled with daily prayer has been a huge blessing in my life.
