Hi I'm Jennifer Dominguez

I was born in North Carolina. I love learning about different cultures & traveling! I love my family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to laugh and enjoy every minute of life. My passion is in tennis. I also enjoy taking pictures, scrap booking, and journal keeping. I'm the youngest of 8.My parents are both from El Salvador and so we love pupusas! I have served as a full time missionary in the Idaho Pocatello Mission and will be returning home August 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

At the age of 13 I already had plans for what I wanted to happen in my future and it definitely wasn't the right way to go, looking back at it now. I honestly feel that the Lord presented me with the gospel at a very pivotal part of my life. I began seeing the missionaries after my brother was baptized and although I wasn't very receptive at first, once I started going to church and reading the Book of Mormon, I just had this feeling come over me each time I did. I didn't realize I was missing something. I always had a belief in God, but I'd never seen Him as a loving Heavenly Father. Once I began to realize who He was and who I was because of that, life just became a lot brighter! There aren't enough words to describe the way this gospel makes me feel and just how blessed I am because of it. I honestly cannot imagine life without it. It has not only been the "good news," but the Best news in my life! Knowing that my family and future family can and will be with me forever and seeing how much joy it has brought into my life, is nothing short of spectacular.

How I live my faith

The years following my baptism really changed my perspective in life and filled my heart with gratitude. Because of that and my brother's example in serving a mission, I decided it would only be fair to share that with others. Giving 18mo. of my time to the Lord is nothing in comparison to how much He's changed my life! A few years later, I was called to the Idaho Pocatello Mission, spanish speaking. I absolutely love it! Prior to serving a mission I was a Sunday School teacher for the 12-13 year old youth and it was among the best callings that I've had. Because of these callings I have come to learn how simple the gospel really is and the many blessings that come from it.
