Hi I'm Malloree

Soccer Fanatic. Texan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Malloree. I love sports, barbeque, the great outdoors and serving others! I am currently on an 18 month mission in Phoenix Arizona. I'm the oldest of 5 kids and I'm from San Antonio Texas!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints because I know that it is true. With that being said I didn't always know this church was true. I grew up in the church, and my parents are very active. They have been my whole life, they are such an example to me of living the gospel to the fullest. As a little girl I loved going to church, singing songs and being with friends, but as I got older I started to question why we even go to church. Again, my parents are such an example to me. They told me that I needed to develop a love for this gospel on my own, to truly find out whether or not this church was true. I respected that so much, because they wanted me to find out on my own. they didn't force me to follow. It wasn't until the end of my junior year in high school that I actually started finding out on my own. I read the Book Of Mormon for the first time in my life! I really didn't understand much of it, but I asked questions, I prayed, and I received answers. I had moments in my life that proved to me that there was a God, that Jesus Christ is our Savior, and that this gospel is true. I'm a Mormon because I love This gospel. I love the feeling that I get each Sunday when I go to church. I love knowing that I can be with my family forever, and with my future family. I love the sacrifices that our prophets have made so that we have the gospel on the earth today. I know this church is true, because of the powerful words and testimonies in the Book Of Mormon. To those who are Investigating the church, keep asking questions. Read the book of Mormon and don't be afraid to pray for guidance. Heavenly Father knows you and loves you more than you could ever imagine. I know that we are all children of our Heavenly Father, and we can show our love for him by praying and thanking him for all the many blessings that we receive. I'm thankful to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I've always loved teaching others about what I believe. I never really thought that I myself would serve a mission for the church. But, I felt a need to share what I believe to the world! None of us are perfect, but Christ is, and he is the perfect example. I strive to be like our savior Jesus Christ, because through him all things are possible. Before my mission I was able to teach children ages 2-4 about Jesus Christ. I loved seeing their faces light up every Sunday as we sang songs and read stories. I love this gospel and the blessings that I've seen, not only in my life but in those I love.
