Hi I'm Daniel

I was born in Utah and now live in Minnesota. I love music, collect Legos, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite thing to do is be with family. I have six younger siblings and a lot of cousins. I love them all and enjoy spending time with them playing European style board games (Catan, Galaxy Trucker, etc.), going to the Temple, playing outdoor games, and building/woodworking. With the help of my family I built a tree house in our back yard, and several medieval shields. I also enjoy camping, especially at new locations. My favorite place I have ever been is the Oregon Coast. My passion is good, wholesome, uplifting music. I believe that music has great power and should be used for good. I love the Gaelic language, particularly in song. Also, I collect Legos (Mostly castle varieties). I will be serving a full time mission starting on 4 November 2015.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by my wonderful parents and have chosen to continue to follow what I have been taught. I have my own testimony of the restored gospel and know that Jesus Christ lives and loves all of us. I love the doctrine of the family: because the priesthood is restored to the earth families can be together forever. This knowledge brings me great peace and comfort in my personal trials. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he translated the gold plates into the Book of Mormon. I know that the teachings and doctrine found in the Book of Mormon are true. I know these things because the Spirit testifies of them to me when I prayerfully seek for answers. I know that any wrong can be made right through the atonement of Jesus Christ because I have felt His healing power in my life. I know this is true without a shadow of a doubt. I look forward to raising my own family someday and following the example of my parents in teaching my future children the gospel and helping them build their own testimonies.

How I live my faith

In my ward at home I am the primary chorister for the young children. I love teaching the wonderful and hope filled truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the children through music. I am also a ward missionary and help the full time missionaries in my ward however I can. I live my faith by studying the Book of Mormon and other books of scripture on a daily basis. I also enjoy studying the words of the living prophet and apostles. I only read, watch, and listen to things that allow me to feel at peace and feel the spirit.
