Hi I'm Jaime

I love the outdoors, summer, and traveling. I am a sister, aunt, daughter, friend, and disciple of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in the Minnesota Minneapolis Mission. I have loved every second of my mission thus far and there is no where else I'd rather be. I was born and raised in Idaho. I have a deep love for exploring all of God's creations through photography, traveling, hiking, and serving. I love the mountains, and personally feel closest to my savior when I am surrounded by his creations. I have grown up in a family of 8. I am a the youngest of 6 kids (4 brothers, 1 sister). They are my world, and am who I am because of them. After my mission, I will continue my education at Brigham Young University!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because it brings a light into my life so lovely, that I would feel hopeless without it. The gospel provides guidance, strength, hope, peace, love, and happiness. It is only through the gospel of Jesus Christ that we can live again forever with our Father in Heaven, and our dearest loved ones. I know I have an older Brother, Friend, and Savior named Jesus Christ. I know that he gave up his life, and took upon him the sins, fears, disappointments, stresses, sadness, and burdens of THE WORLD to save me, and you. I know that through him we can find joy unlike any happiness we could receive from any other source. I know that his arms are ALWAYS outstretched towards us, and if we but only turn to him, he will RUN to us. He loves us, and he wants the best for us. I am a Mormon, not only because the doctrines it teaches are true, and good, but because of the feelings of personal revelation that is forever engraved in my soul. I have witnessed from the spirit as it floods through my whole body, burning warmth in my chest, tears in my eyes, and peace to my heart, that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true and restored gospel on the the earth today, and that ANYONE that abides by it's precepts will come closer to God, than by doing ANYTHING else. I know it's true. I live it; I love it.

How I live my faith

One of my favorite quotes says, "Your testimony of the Savior is Reflected in the way you treat others." I live my faith by trying every day to represent Jesus Christ and treat others as He would treat them. As a missionary, I have the privilege of wearing Christ's name every single day. It is by him, through him, and of him, that everything I do as a missionary is possible. I love the scriptures. The time I get to study is precious to me, and I feel a deep connection with God and receive answers to prayers as I do so. I'm grateful for the tools I've been given that allow me to be a better disciple of Jesus Christ in every aspect of my life.
