Hi I'm Cheloy

I'm currently serving as a missionary in Philippines Quezon City Mission. I love playing Basketball and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing basketball and baseball. I love activities that can give me adrenaline rush. When I have free time I enjoy going to beach or mountains and hanging out with my friends. Before mission I go to school and worked at Mcdonalds. My family is very supportive and I love them.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born my mother is already a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. So I grew up in the church. I'm Mormon because I read, ponder and prayed about the Book of Mormon. By reading, pondering and then praying about it, I was able to feel that it is true. I feel also the love of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ so I decided to share it to all the people. I decided to serve a mission, to be a servant of The Lord and to help Him. I believe that there is no such thing as fear and doubt in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, just love and happiness. Gospel of Jesus Christ will bless all of us.

How I live my faith

I always try to set good examples for those around me. I also love following inspiring examples of the people I meet. I always go to church every Sunday. I read the Book of Mormon and ponder it. I have a great opportunity to show my faith and testimony of Jesus Christ as I serve a mission. Faith is willing to surrender to God's will and I live my faith by surrendering to God's will and follow His commandments.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?
