Hi I'm Bailey

I am a sister, a daughter, a niece, a cousin, and a friend... but most importantly I am a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of six, including my parents. I love them all very much and am grateful to be sealed to them for forever. I enjoy watching movies, hanging out with friends and family, playing some occasional basketball, and running. I also play the guitar but there is a lot of room for growth in that department. This past year I spent as a student attending a college in Utah as an entrepreneurship major. I am taking a break from my studies for the next year and a half to serve a full time mission. I am excited for the opportunity to see and experience a culture that is different from what I am used to.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church since I was baptized at eight years old. While growing up I enjoyed attending primary greatly, I recall many teachers who loved and cared for me as if I were their own. This continued as I entered the young women program when I turned twelve. I learned many things and the testimony I had began to grow tremendously due to spiritual insights and promptings I received. It wasn't until college that I really knew just how much the church meant to me and how much my testimony and understanding had increased. I wanted to be righteous and follow Gods plan for me. In an attempt to do so I figured out how to use the atonement in my everyday life. I realized that Jesus Christ knew everything that I was going through big or small and that he cared for me no matter what. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ both love each one of us so much and that if we reach out to them we will recognize that they've been there all along rooting for our success. I am so grateful to have something in my life that means so much to me and shapes the person that I am and the person that I hope to become one day. I know this church is true and that following the guidance given by our Heavenly Father is the only source of true and lasting happiness.

How I live my faith

I believe that service is a major principle taught by Jesus Christ and that has been the driving force behind my desire to serve. Whether it was being a president in my young women's class or participating in 5K runs to raise awareness service is an attribute I strive to maintain. This past year in my singles ward I served on the compassionate service committee which basically means that I would offer a service or try to invite and get to know someone that was struggling. I felt the most joy in this calling because I was privileged enough to feel the love our Father in Heaven has for each of those girls. It was truly amazing.
